such an ambitious birthday plan?

I have bad birthdays. It is a fact.

I'm to fly from Lima to Cusco in a not ever so modern country. I'm then going to be travelling by bus, train, and taxi on that day. Sheez... am i asking for a massive fatality event by tempting the fates?

No, I know that is silly but already the dread of 'birthday' is hedging over my excitement. I miss birthdays when I was little.. cakes, sleepovers, and trips to the movie theater. Those were the days. 

Til then I'm keeping my fingers crossed that no disaster occur on my birthday. IF they do... someone please re-write this entry to be something profound and meaningful :)
