THere is a major chill in the air and snow on the ground.
It was 71 when I left and 9 degrees here.
hmm..
I left Daryl today and it was sad. He's such a good guy and a good friend. I think it's amazing when you can visit your friends for more than two weeks and never get sick of each other. ALthough we didn't make as many pancakes as planned.
I got to talk to Ale's mom on Skype tonight. Again I wanted to cry because I miss Ale and her mom! I'm glad I've decided to have the lasik surgery in peru rather than brazil so I can spend time wtih them.
Please keep Ale's grandpa Cusato in your prayers. He isn't well and is in a lot of pain and has been for a long time. He's led a long eventful life as have most of the transplants in Lima. He was born in Sarejevo I believe.. married and Itailian and has traveled the world and was rather sweet when I met him even on O2 he spoke Russian with me :)

Here's the thing.
I'm very happy with my life. I may not know every bit of where I'll end up but I'm happy with that. I miss my friends so much. I never once connected with the people I grew up with like I have people I met at camp for two months and haven't seen in five years, or the people from foreign countries I've worked with in Co for a few months..
I'm a lucky girl and I hope I've blessed their lives too!!
