Shane's trip to CO, and subsequent bike AWESOMENESS

Shane arrived to Denver, Fabi and I left Vail at 5am to pick him up. The kids wanted bloody Mary's so we found SNOOZE... AMAZING!

Then on the drive to Vail we detoured up to Loveland Pass...and had some fun. Touched the clouds

 

Shane and I rented a bike to go see his cousin in Grand Junction. We ended up leaving I70 at Silt, going south over some forest roads, insane Land's end road and had a GREAT time.

I can't describe how fun it was and a good bonding experience for Shane and I..

End of day 1, Land's end road, then we had dinner with Shane's cousin in Grand Junction. They were so nice!

Easy bike ride to Telluride, lunch at the farmers market and then we started the BIG RIDE, up Imogene Pass.

Two dirty but excited people!

Saturday, after leaving in the same clothes on Thursday and getting only one shower, many mountain passes, much dirty, much water, many laughs, many scrapes, we LIVED!
