Wandering the roads!

This week has been interesting to say the least.  I've enjoyed my time in Alabama.
I've woken nearly every morning to kisses from Beck & Adam's dogs, doors open with birds singing.
I was able to go to Lowe's & shop in the flowers & help Becky plant some dirt. GIT SUM DIRT-- & Got some awesome redneck tan lines in the process too. Oops, perdon-- I mean burn lines. :)

Waiting for Becky at the airport

Finally enjoying a new good people beer at the new BHM airport

Puppy snuggles!!!!

We've drank some quality bud light (my quantity for the year)
had some food--- yummy Surin West which is a favorite here in Bhm
and caught up on gossip about the loons we grew up with in Corner (Cawnah) Alabama.
Adam & I had a lunch date yesterday-- We went to Braumhauer's wings & played trivia while awaiting a line of tornadic activity. Gitty up-- I even had James Spann himself with his bald head & suspenders queued up on my phone for weather updates.

Another highlight was seeing my friend Nika & her new fiance. She is fighting cancer for a second time so I was so happy to see her & the family & meet their new addition. Nika & I worked together at a hotel during my time in Bama & she kept me sane.

I'm so thankful for the friends I keep in touch with while I'm here. I used to spend time with others that didn't appreciate me for who I am or what I do but I am SO lucky to have weeded those toxic time consuming people out of my life & be able to concentrate on the wonderful friends I do have here! L*U*C*K*Y

I've not seen my parents. After multiple attempts my mother can't pick herself up to drive even 20 minutes as most capable adults could manage so I've not seen them or the dogs. I'm done trying & I'm also done with feeling guilty over not having a relationship with them. Ovahhhh it.

Ladies & Gents-- That's all from Saban Nation! The next post will be from Peru! (Monday or Tuesday)  ROWE TYDE!
