Down to the wire.

Well.. it's now or never!
I have a week before I MUST leave for PA. Last night I was at teh 2nd parents house drugged on benedryl from the poison oak that won't go away.  I freshned all my winter clothes (get rid of all the smoke smell from them having been at my parents) and washed a lot of stuff :)  Went thru the storage area.. got rid of 1/2 of my shoes. Just have to tackle my room over the next couple of days!

I'm a little more anxious about this trip though. It's a lot to figure out with these objectives:
1. Pack for 1 1/2 months of the road in an RV and hotel.
2. Get planned, booked, and packed for a 5-6 night back country trekking trip in  YOSEMITE!
3. Have clothes suitable for nights out in Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, and Omaha before heading to CO
4. Have all of my stuff packed for Colorado. AHH!

It's a lot to do. I feel like I'll just end up driving back down to Alabama in the end because I've forgotton some major items. Or I could just buy new :)
We'll see.

Oh did I mention during all of this I have to see friends for the last time!
tomorrow I'm supposed to see Nika
Monday I meet Kerra to plan our Yosemite trip and to meet for the first time in probably 11 or 12 years since school!  I'm sure we talked... at some point :)
Tuesday I have lunch with Eric then am going to hang out with the 2nd parents
Wednesday
Thursday evening I'm going to BFR to spend the night at Beckys and meet her hubby before they come to Vail to party for his 30th in December. Probably will be lots of red meat and wine consumed.
Friday it's time to celebrate with Sara Combs.. whom I've also not seen in ages! She'll have just taken some big test for pharmacy school or being out of it :) I'm low on details.. it's a big test though!

--Daily lunches with Ale's mom, Rosalba.
--Being able to talk to Ale every day or know I have someone to go shopping with.
--talking about lame pop music with Danielito
--postre with viejo and omar
--sitting on the porch swing in NOLA reading hippie books on green living and drinking a coors light
--drinking a coors light at the Mississippi with Angelina dangling our feet in the water
--painting Jordan's side of the house while listening to techno with James and drinking too much coors then getting fresh air with fresh coors at the river
--arguing with Jordan while tubing
--seeing Jordan stress about being a dad when he'll make a good one
--stalking Jamie Cullum thru the south
--lazy movie days with Pheneger
--my now not best friend in St. Louis and her baby I've not and probably won't meet.
--tequila with Kim and Anita.
--sneaking glasses of wine during lunch at the Marriott with Nika.
--Lucas barking every time I would sneeze in Lima.
--walks around olivar parque.

sigh.  I will live to do these things again!
