James relaxing. I'm a little miffed at this photo. As we were pulling up to this beach I for some reason left James in charge of my tube with attached cooler. He was in his with attached cooler. When I turned back around there goes my tube and cooler down the river. So I none to gracefully go back in the water and start swimming. I'm sure I was cursing James the entire way. I knew the pull out was just around the bend and it was going faster than I was. Finally made it to the runaway tube and start back to shore when James shows up. So nice to have some help. haha It made for a good memory!
During the last beach stop a lot of us played football... and others played around on the branch in the middle of the river. JORDAN.

From the NOLA trip.. our first full day there we joined Jordan and James on a tubing trip. There were a lot of people and it was a LOT of fun!
Met some great new people and came away with some stories. and didn't have to use that swift water rescue certification! yay!
This looks like so much fun! However, I must say I'm pretty sad about you not coming to FL. :( In other news, when your friend moves to UT, you'd best be lettin' me know when you visit because my NoUT home is SO CLOSE to Sandy, it's ridiculous!

ReplyDeleteand of course I will! Turns out the Amtrak train leaves Glenwood Springs (30 minutes west of Vail) and I can take it to Provo or SLC ;)
