Wednesday I was still attempting to adjust--not to jet lag but to the latin lifestyle.
I'm the traveler who likes to be up at the first chance and out and doing stuff. Last time I was here
I was in Lima on the end of my trip so I'd figured it all out.
Figured what out?
How to stay in until 2 or 3 for lunch and then not get out to do anything until 5pm.
It drives me nuts but it is how things are. Yesterday, Friday, I was able to wake early, go out and stay up
until midnight without a nap! yay!.

We mostly went out and about on Wednesday. Then we took the Mirabus from Kennedy Park in Miraflores
for the night tour. While I wasn't impressed by the tour (they didn't tell us it was in spanish) I'd suggest
skipping the tour and taking a taxi to the Magical Water Fountains. It is currently s/4 for entrance. Alot maybe two hours.
Ensure that you are there for the big show at the main fountains. It is FANTASTIC.
They project images such as laser, and scenes from the nutcracker ballet on the mists of the water.
It sounds cheesy but it was enjoyed by all!
We also enjoyed the tunnel fountain that you walk through. You'll get misted a little but it's fine for your
equipment.

If you're adventurous, check out the maze fountain!
We had an interesting night due to the fountains being by the national stadium. Traffic & people were

Mostly, I just can't tell you how much I enjoy spending time with Ale & her mama, Rosalba. They are treasures & I always love the time I spend with them. Maybe even Lucas too...when he isn't being a pain in his cone of shame :) heheh.

The late afternoon view from Ale's window towards San Isidro's downtown area
The pre-Incan site Huaca Pullupana at night--a few blocks from Ale's house. Literally--you can see the mounds from the front windows.
First course of a delicious lunch prepared by Nelly (the maid) & Ale's mama.
Stuffed avacado with very little mayonaise, beets, carrots, chick peas.
For Daryl in Naples who knows of my affection for putting booze into water bottles.. this was Ale's idea-- Chilcano in a VOS glass bottle :) prepare for shopping & errands with Ale & her mama.
Then we were ready for the mirabus a noche tour.
Ale her mom & I.
The best part of the tour was the 'Magical Water Circuit Tour!"
Look at that pretty moon! THank goodness I have a silly HDR function on my camera.
